Privacy Policy

We only collect what we need to sell you parts, book your car in and reply to you. We don't sell data and we don't run advertising trackers.

What we collect and why

• Orders: name, email, phone, billing and delivery address, and what you bought — to process and deliver your order, send order emails and handle returns and warranty. Kept for 6 years for accounting and legal purposes.
• Bookings and enquiries: name, contact details, your vehicle registration and details about the work you want — to reply, quote and book you in. Kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting work.
• Vehicle lookups: when you enter a registration in Check Your Car, it's sent to the DVSA to identify the vehicle. We don't store lookups unless you go on to make a booking.
• WhatsApp and phone: if you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we'll use those details to reply.

Our lawful basis is performance of a contract (orders, bookings), our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the business, and legal obligation for records we must keep.

Payments

Card and PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your full card details. PayPal's own privacy policy applies to the payment step.

Who we share data with

Only the services we need to run the site and fulfil orders: Snipcart (checkout and order management), PayPal (payments), Netlify (website hosting and booking form handling), the DVSA (vehicle identification from your registration), and the couriers who deliver your parts. Each processes data on our instructions or under their own compliant terms. Some of these providers process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies and local storage needed for the basket and checkout to work. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Embedded content such as the Google map may set its own cookies when loaded.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email or call us and we'll deal with it within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We'll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
